With the World Darts Championship just around the corner, the season is now set to conclude with the final PDC tournaments of the year before the World Darts Championship kicks off in mid-December. Although much of the focus is already on the upcoming championship, several exciting tournaments will take place in November, with the Grand Slam of Darts being the largest tournament held in November.

Below, you’ll find all the tournaments organized by PDC in November.

November 1 | Grand Slam of Darts Qualifier

All players who hold a PDC tour card but have not yet qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts now have the chance to secure a spot in this prestigious tournament. A total of 24 players will participate in the Grand Slam of Darts, with 16 players already qualified through victories in various tournaments throughout the year. Now, the remaining eight spots will be contested by the other players.

November 2-3 | Challenge Tour 21-24

The final Challenge Tour tournaments of the year will now take place. The Challenge Tour is a competition for players without a PDC tour card who still want to compete at a high level and face strong opponents. The prize also includes two spots in the World Darts Championship for the two highest-ranked players, as well as a PDC tour card for next year and a spot in the Grand Slam of Darts 2024. Currently, Connor Scutt and Wesley Praiser are ranked first and second. However, since these players are already qualified for the World Darts Championship through other tournaments, Christian Kist and Danny Jansen hold the World Championship spots ahead of the final four Challenge Tour tournaments.

November 9-17 | Grand Slam of Darts

One of the year’s most prestigious tournaments is the Grand Slam of Darts. This tournament requires qualification to participate. All other PDC tournaments throughout the year act as qualifying events for the Grand Slam of Darts. The winner and runner-up of the World Championship, Masters, Open, Premier League, World Matchplay, Grand Prix, World Series of Darts, Players Championship Finals, and European Championship are guaranteed a spot. Winning a European Tour event also guarantees a place in the Grand Slam of Darts. The winner and runner-up in the World Youth Championship, and winners of the Challenge Tour, Development Tour, PDC Women’s Series, Women’s World Matchplay, PDC Asia Tour, and CDC Continental Cup are also guaranteed a spot. The remaining slots, filling a total of 32, are determined by a qualifier among all PDC tour players who have not yet qualified.

The Grand Slam of Darts is played in a group stage format, with four players drawn into each of eight groups. The top two players from each group advance to the knockout stage and round of 16. Group matches are best of 9 legs, the round of 16 is best of 19 legs, and the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final are best of 31 legs.

November 22-24 | Players Championship Finals

Throughout the year, 30 Players Championship tournaments have been held. From these, players have accumulated points to qualify for the Players Championship Finals. The 64 highest-ranked players in these events have qualified. The draw pairs the highest-ranked player against the lowest-ranked player. The prize fund for the Players Championship Finals is £600,000, with £120,000 for the winner. All participants are guaranteed a minimum of £3,000.

November 24 | PDC World Youth Championship Final

Simultaneously with the Players Championship Finals, the World Youth Championship final will also take place. The final will be played between Gian van Veen and Jurjen van der Velde. This is the first time that the World Youth Championship final features two players from the Netherlands. The winner of the final earns a spot in the 2024 World Darts Championship, and both finalists have secured places in the 2025 Grand Slam of Darts.

November 25 | World Darts Championship Tour Card Qualifier

The final chance for all players holding a PDC tour card to qualify for the World Darts Championship, which begins on December 13. In this qualifier, all players who have not yet qualified for the World Championship through other tournaments are eligible to participate. Two spots remain available, and these are the final slots for the 2025 World Darts Championship.
